We believe and hold to the following Truths:

The Scriptures

The Bible is the inspired, infallible and preserved Word of God. The Scripture, only consisting of 39 Old Testament and 27 New Testament books are inspired word for word. It is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. We believe the King James Bible is the inspired Word of God. (Isaiah 40:8, John 1:1, II Timothy 3:16, II Peter 1:19-21)

God always has been and always will be. We believe in the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Three persons, but they are one God. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19, I Corinthians 8:6)

Salvation is given by grace through faith alone in the finished work on the Cross, not by works. Jesus Christ gave His life for all to be saved. We need only to ask for salvation once to have eternal security. (John 1:12; 3:3-7, Romans 5:8-10, Ephesians 2:8-9, Hebrews 7:27, I John 5:13)

The Church

The church is an independent, called –out assembly of baptized believers. God has given His church the responsibility of carrying out the Great Commission. (Matthew 18:18; 28:19-20; Mark 16:15, Ephesians 1:22,23)

Two Ordinances of the Local Church

1. Baptism by immersion in water - This signifies dying to self and the world and having a newness of life. We can identify with Christ as he was buried and was resurrected. (Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, Romans 6:4-6)

2. Lord’s Supper - This represents and commemorates Christ’s sacrificial death for our sins. (Matthew 26:26-29, I Corinthians 11:23-29)

The Second coming

At any time, the Lord could come again to gather His Church and reward them for their service. Those that are unsaved and left behind will go through the Tribulation, after which, Christ will return to earth and establish His Millennial Kingdom for one thousand years. Once the thousand year reign is over, the unbelievers will stand at the Great White Throne to be judged and cast into the Lake of Fire, to be separated from God forever. Those who are saved will spend eternity in Heaven with the Lord. (Matthew 24:29-42, I Thessalonians 4:16-18, Revelation 19:11-20:15)

The Great Commission

God left us on earth and has commanded us to spread and preach the gospel ‘to every creature.’ It is our duty to spread the Word of God to everyone, whether that be going around the world or in our own area. We are to do our best to make sure no one is left not hearing the Word of God. (Matthew 28:19,20, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8)

ecclesiastical separation

God makes it evident that we are to be separated to Him. If we are separated from the world, we must be separated to Christ. If we are to live our life for Him, we need to be close to Him; we cannot be close to the Lord without the right standards and convictions. (I Thessalonians 5:23, II Corinthians 6:17, Hebrews 7:26)
